Hey all and welcome to Crafty Trade. So that each time we have a trade, no one has to reinvent the wheel, please post to this thread. Just a quick notice like "Hi, just joined!"
That way, I can keep the database up to date. It will make it easier for future trades to be administered.
Thanks, Suzanne

Hi, I've joined but I'm going to lurk a bit first, at least until I'm done teaching this semester, then I'll get in on the fun. I excited though, having seen all the great goodies traded in the jewelry trade at CV.

Hi, Just Joined.
What i like to do is sew mostly purses, dolls and little things.
Got tired of the big things like wedding dresses, ren clothes,
but I like to bead, alter books and learn other things too.
Thanks for letting me Join. -

Hi Wyld,
I like to do small projects too, mainly because I like the instant gratification of having something done in an hour! Every now and then, I still like to take on a larger project, though, and test my patience. Welcome to the trade! -S

Hey, I joined. Glad to be here, thanks for inviting me. I love to do trades, hopefully I will be able to do a couple.

Specialities hmm......beaded jewelry like earrings and necklaces; etched mirror and glass; polymer clay jewelry; woodburning on wood and gourds (hope to grow some this year). So far that is all I am really into, I dabble in some scrapbooking and gardening but not much. Oh, and I love to paint just about anything! Indoors, outdoors, watercolor, oil or acrylic!

Hi y'all. Well, I am one of those who sent her jewelry swap item only, oh, three months too late. Unforseen boss panic circumstance (argh).
At any rate, this time I promise to PLAN better and get the item out if not on time, then on a reasonable facsimile thereof. And to inform the folks involved that I am being a smelly butt.
At any rate, my name is Mojave (really Lisa but I hate Lisa), and I mainly do polymer clay, jewelry, some PMC jewelry, woodworking & a bit of metalwork here and there. I'm also a computer modder, so I'm starting to putter with EL wire & LEDs in my crafts as opposed to in my computer. I'm tempted to buy a big chunk of the former & crochet with it.

Hi Ladies! I'm a newbie- I wouldn't say that I have a specialty so much, but I am looking forward to the creativity that this will bring forth. I love to paint, sculpt, digital photography and layout and design of newsletters and other documents.

hi all - just joined and looking forward to a trade.
Just did my first trade in crafty vixens and I had a ball. was so excited to find this tribe.
-
Hi, I joined last week. I really enjoyed the trade on Crafty Vixens and so decided to try it for a while!!!
-
Hi I joined a few weeks back. Just took part in the color trade in the Crafty VIxens tribe. Am a bit confused still about what goes on here, if that was a part of this or what. I will keep an eye on this tribe to see about future trades. Thanks!

We have crafty trades here!
Usually we complete one before starting a new one, to make sure everyone has gotten their items. I think there is a rule that you have to have completed one trade before joining (though that might have changed..) so we get serious traders who will follow through. Anyone is welcome to organize a trade. And you don't have to take part in every one, which is nice if you are busy. -
-
Crafty Vixens trades are separate from those that happen here. We started this tribe because we wanted a smaller group that would be sure to follow through on their trades. We used to require that you have completed a CV Trade before joining, but now we just want vixens who are excited about trading.

Hi! I'm working on my first trade with CV and am excited about this group! I work in just about everything except I don't knit! My background is in Theater Costume Design and sculpture and illustration and dollmaking and masks and... I've made just about every crafty thing imaginable from bath products and candles to hats! I teach middle school reading now, so I'm looking forward to a summer of crafty fun!

Hi all!
I'm a new Tracey, too!! Well, I've been Tracey for 37 years, but I'm new to this tribe...along with the other new Tracey....well, you know what I meant, eh?
I'm in Quebec, not far from the Ottawa Tracey ( Hi neighbour!! ). I love anything crafty, but my favourite things right now are altered books, ATCs, along with long-time passions such as henna, painting, and sewing.
I dabble in many things, according to what I want to express, and I love trying new things, too.
Oh, and I'm new to this kinda thing.

Hi everyone, Just joined and ready to trade. I'm another Ottawa Native (Like Tracey)

We have quite a few new members so I just wanted to officially welcome them to the tribe!
We're mid-trade right now, but there will be a new one in a month or so. Check out the previous threads to see the kids of trades we've done. Also, please take a look at the photo album to see all the beautiful, creative, and fun items that have been traded. The variety is just amazing!
