I'm so glad you like it!

I went to the lame fabric store to get the orange fabric. The woman who cut it was like "are you SURE you want this color?" When I explained what I was making, she just looked blank.

I snapped a pic before I sent it out, so I can put one up if your camera is on the fritz.

I got a crazy bag from Ms. Smart today! At first I was wondering how it could be inspired by her back yard because it's black fur with bohemian, desert looking jewels and stuff with an awesome medalion... but then I found the little fold out card she'd included with photos of her neighborhood and I totally got it. Thank you so much Ms. Smart! It was not at all what I expected and I totally looooove it!!!! btw: Mojave sixty-six, yours is on the way!!

So this morning my partner goes to fetch the delivered water when she notices a package. I guess if it's a backyard trade, the postman was required to hide it in the back porch? If so, s/he did a good job. :-)

Nonetheless, I got a GORGEOUS set of bath salts, soaks and an eye pillow from Emily, all scented wonderfully-- Orange-rose, lavendar and rosemary-clove. One of these is going in the bath tonight, with the pillow keeping the world out. The hardest part is going to be which one to choose.

Emily did a beautiful job with the eye pillow (blue, orange, green) and wrapping up the bath salts in dark floral colors with lots of ribbons. BTW, she also sent pictures of her backyard. She has a kickass backyard.

I recieved the lovliest diorama from Kashmir the other day! It was worth the wait as it's so beautiful. I'm posting pics of it in this Tribe. Thank you.

Oh Anne is the best! She sent me an awesomely beautiful hand-beaded flower pin-- I think it is a lily-- in ORANGE!!! my favorite color, and it came in this BEAUTIFUL box decorated with pictures of leaves. I will try to get picts up tomorrow. Oh, I can't wait to get costumed up on Friday, this beauty is definitely going in my hair!
