Can we start throwing out some theme ideas? I liked the abstractness and versatility of "containers", it'd be cool if we could do something like that again.

First things first people, didn't we agree in forming this tribe that if you didn't send you would get kicked out or something?

growth trade
summer trade
magic trade
or pick a color and have everybody send something that color -

06/03I really think that the powers that be, should do an accounting of the last trade before we start a new one.
It could get confusing if we start a new one right away.
In the future, deadlines should be more closely followed.
If you don't send, then you are out of the next trade.

06/03Okay, how about this . . .
If you run a trade, please provide me with the names (and tribe handles) of any non-senders. I'll handle it from there. I'm thinking I'll do a check-in and find out what happened. Unless there is a good explanation and some kind of followthrough, then they'll be asked to leave the tribe. This will be an absolute "worst-case" situation.
I know this seems kind of harsh, but this is a tribe for people who want to trade. It doesn't mean the person can't participate in CV trades.
What do you all think? -

06/03I thought you made up rules before when we formed this tribe and people had to agree to them prior joining. Is that correct? Where are those rules? Let's just enforce those rules. -

06/03The rules are listed in the tribe description, but we hadn't decided how we would approach non-senders. Since I'm the only one who can remove members, I think it makes sense that I would be the one to contact folks who didn't send out an item. Of course, I'm open to any suggstions. -

06/03I guess maybe before we do any rules, we might see who gave and recieved.. Maybe we can more strictly enforce the rules for the next trade.
I also have a suggestion for the next trade.. How about either nature ( everyon's back yard is different, I am sure.. desert, ocean, forest...) or "what I did during my summer vacation ( some sort of summer montage)...

06/05Well, I actually feel pretty strongly about enforcing the rules. I don't want to be a dictator, but the whole point of this tribe was to create a place where we can rely on good results.
So, I also like the "backyard" trade. Shall I post a new thread with a timeline?
